From a local collection of art glass, this contemporary art glass swirl boasts rich multicolor tones in a Murano inspired style. I just love the art, nouveau, inspired design & the colors remind me of peacock feathers. It's a lovely shape & form & would hold a nice sized floral bouquet. The vase measures approximately 10 inches tall & around 5 to 5 1/4 inches at its widest point. Please note that this is fairly heavy & weighs a little bit over 4 1/2 pounds by itself before being properly packed for shipping. If you're in the Atlanta Georgia area, I'm happy to arrange for a free local pick up. Likely made to copy the Murano & other European glass companies' art glass, this is a vintage unmarked piece of good quality. in the 1980s-90s there were many Chinese companies that began making pieces like this, so that is a possibility of a maker. (Though it could be Mexican glass perhaps?) in very good vintage preowned condition, the classic vase is free from apparent damage or repair.
