This is a lovely handmade & sculpted deep ceramic bowl with a South Carolina palm tree & crescent moon design against a gorgeous, shiny glaze in shades of blue & gray. It's an interesting size, a little bit big for a traditional bowl of soup or chowder or cereal, though a little small as a fruit bowl. it is signed on the bottom with the name that looks like it could be Jim though I'm not really sure. It's also dated 2003 & it has a cross next to it. If you're familiar with this artist, please let me know! It came out of an estate near my home here in the Atlanta area. The bowl measures approximately 6 3/4 inches in diameter & about 3 5/8 inches deep. I especially love the glaze which is a beautiful shade of blue. I tried to take a lot of different photos to show you how the color can vary depending on the light. in very good preowned condition, this beautiful bowl is free from damage or repair & would be a great addition to your home & kitchen.
