This listing is for 'Libertine' - A Christmas Tree Top Fairy from The Fabulous Fairy Factory. The Fairy is the 'standard' size of 12 approximately & is suitable for the top of a Christmas tree size ranging from 4ft to 6ft. Made using fabric from Liberty, London & skirts made with layers of soft tulle & organza. She is decorated with frosted foliage & natural moss is used for the hair. The fairy maker has been creating beautiful fairy & angel dolls for 20 years. Each is made to a genuine concept created by the fairy maker to be ultra light & add no stress to the top most branch of your Christmas tree. They simply attach to the top branch with the ribbon at her waist & tied securely with a bow. She may then be posed accordingly to your desire. Each fairy is handmade & therefore unique to any other. It's body is NOT made from plastic & it's legs are wired to enable it to be 'posed' to your preference. Please be aware that there may be slight 'anomalies' in your fairies make but this is due to the material used (recycled paper) & adds quirkiness & character to your fairy. The fairy pictured above is the 'standard' size of 12 in height approximately. We recommend that these look best on a tree from 5ft to 8ft. We also make a larger size at 16 for those that like to make an impact and/or have larger trees. Please message for stock or for this design to be recreated in the larger size. Each fairy is made using layers of organza, net & fabrics. We add beads & wire & lots of sparkle of course. All of the fairies have clay boots & some have clay crowns. Please be careful when handling your fairy to avoid damage to these accessories. Each fairy will arrive wrapped in layers of soft tissue paper & a sturdy box. We suggest that you keep this box for when she is not being displayed on in use. There is a ribbon hook on the back of each fairy to hang her on a wall or hook to be displayed all year round should you wish. Please note...these dolls are intended for display ONLY. Please do not allow small children to play with them as small parts are used in their creation. Please display them out of reach of tiny hands. The stand is not included but can be purchased separately if you wish to display your fairy all year. Please contact the Fairy-maker to enquire. Please keep your box that the fairy arrives in as she can be safely stored away until required.
