Presented is sterling silver Georgian bowl from Charles Aldridge. This piece has a beautiful engraved pattern below the reeded lip of the bowl. This piece stands on a wide pedestal foot with a similar reeded border. There is a monogram on the side of the bowl, MWG in a traditional script. This piece is hallmarked with the English Lion Passant for sterling silver, the leopard's head crowned for the city of London, the duty mark of King George III, & the date mark A representing 1796. The bowl is also marked with the maker's mark, CA, for Charles Aldridge. The piece is in great condition. There is minimal surface wear. There are no breaks & no repairs.
