Place mat in neutral Scandinavian style, in our most popular Waldorf design. Solid eucalyptus board gives each one strength & durability. Each place mat is hand-finished with Italian dark green baize backing to prevent slipping & to protect your furniture. Heat resistant to 140oC. Each has our signature trade mark to ensure authenticity. Standard Place mat: Length 29 x Width 22 x Height 0.48 centimeters or Length 11 1/2 x Width 8 1/2 x 1/2 inches We advise you to measure your table & plates before purchase to ensure the perfect match. Care instructions: Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Do not put in the dishwasher or submerge in water Process: The original wood veneers were dyed in Italy & then laser cut into cubes. Each one was gently sanded on all sides before Ernest laid them into the geometric design. Once dry he gently sanded the surface again & then applied coats of sealer to bring out the subtle colours of the veneers.
