These beautiful hexagonal melamine coasters are our most popular Waldorf design from the Gatsby range. The pattern brings an elegant look to your home. Each coaster is hand-finished with a dark green baize backing to prevent slipping & to protect your furniture. Heat resistant to 140oC. Dimensions: Hexagon L11.2 x W10 x H0.32cm or L4 x W4 inches Circle. 10 cms diameter or 4 inch diameter Square. 10 cms square or 4 inches square Care instructions: Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Do not put in the dishwasher or submerge in water Process: The original wood veneers were dyed in Italy & then laser cut into cubes. Each one was gently sanded on all sides before Ernest laid them into the geometric design, starting in the middle with the green colours & working outwards. Once dry he gently sanded the surface again & then applied coats of sealer to bring out the subtle colours of the veneers.
