6 Coasters set in 6 different designs give a charming look to your coffee table. Practical as well as stylish with melamine coating which is easy to wipe clean. Dark green baize backing protects your surfaces. A fun practical gift. Size: Length 11.5 x Width 10 x Height 0.32 centimetres or Length 4 1/2 x Width 4 x Height 1/3 inches approx. The Process: I chose 3 shades from wood veneers dyed in Italy. They were laser cut into geometric cubes. Each cube was sanded on all sides by hand before being laid in the tumbling blocks design. Once dry the whole was gently sanded by hand again before a coating of sealer was applied to bring out the subtle colours of the veneers. The original was then scanned & the image printed onto eucalyptus board. A matt melamine coating was applied to the image to make a quality heat resistant to 140 degree product.
