Set of 4 mixed placemats. Bold abstract design set of 4 colours as shown in the images above. Each with our registered trademark signature so that you are assured of receiving our authentic products. Heat resistant to 140 Celsius due to the melamine coating. Hard eucalyptus board (from a sustainable source) in the middle to provide stability & strength. Dark green baize backing to protect your furniture from scratches & also to stop the placemat from sliding. Easy to wipe clean with a damp cloth & then dried with a tea towel for years of service. Please measure your table & plates before purchase to ensure the perfect match. Placemats Standard UK: Size Approx: L29 x W22 x H0.48 centimetres or (L11 3/4 x W81/2 x 1/2 inches) Add coasters Square Coasters: L10 x W10 x H0.32 centimetres or (L4 x W4 x H1/4 inches) THE PROCESS: I chose the colours of wood veneers dyed in Italy. These were laser cut into cubes. Each cube was sanded by hand before being laid in the geometric pattern. Once dry the whole was gently sanded by hand again before a coating of sealer was applied to bring out the soft colours of the veneers. The original hand laid image was scanned & printed on eucalyptus board.
