4 large placemats set in an Abstract geometric designs. Statement dining decor! One each of the colours shown. Option to add matching coasters at check out. Each with our registered trademark signature so that you are assured of receiving our authentic products. Heat resistant to 140 Celsius. Hard eucalyptus board (from a sustainable source) in the middle to provide stability & strength. Dark green baize backing o protect your furniture from scratches & also to stop the place mat from sliding around. Easy to wipe clean with a damp cloth & then dried with a tea towel for years of service. Please measure their table & plates before purchase to ensure the perfect match. Rectangle: Size Approx: L38 x W29 x H0.48 centimetres or (L15 x W11 1/2 x H1/2 inches) THE PROCESS: I chose 3 colours of wood veneers dyed in Italy. These were laser cut into cubes. Each cube was sanded by hand before being laid in the geometric pattern. Once dry the whole was gently sanded by hand again before a coating of sealer was applied to bring out the soft colours of the veneers. The original hand laid image was scanned & printed on eucalyptus board.
