A gorgeous piece of faience art designed by the decorated Norwegian designer & artist, Eyestein Sandnes (1927-2006). This small vase is a brilliant deep blue, with teal-green stripes & a touch of brown around the opening. The piece is signed by the artist on the bottom & also bears the Porsgrund stamp. It bears a label from the Austrian gallery, Saga, where it was sold. 4 3/8 tall, 5 in diameter in excellent vintage condition, with no signs of damage or wear.
