Kingfisher hanging decoration. My wildlife portraits start life as a ball of clay. I roll out my clay & cut out circular tiles which are then left to dry & painted in 4/days with acrylic paint. For this kingfisher I kept him slightly abstract & placed him on a gold background. I then sanded off the edges for a Gold leaf effect & finished with high gloss varnish & gold organza ribbon to hang. This ornament would make a beautiful keepsake for Valentine's or Mother's day for a unique gift. This item was handmade with clay, painted with acrylic paint & glazed with Triple Thick Gloss for a high shine coat. As all items are handmade each one will be slightly different. All items are purely decorative & not for food use. I REDUCE, RE-USE & RECYCLE where possible & shop responsibly while still maintaining high standards. Packaging may vary in colour or size as a result. All of my items are one of a kind & completely handmade from start to finish. Custom orders need 3-5 days.
