If you want the rainbow you gotta put up with the rain-Dolly This listing is for a beautiful 18x24 inch giclee print of Dolly Parton. The original was painted in oil on canvas by me, Emelie A Glessner, 2021. The painting has been professionally digitized & printed on sturdy poster paper using high quality, archival ink. The image measures 18x24 inches & has a white border all around of 1 inch, which can be trimmed down (or not) in the framing process, if one should wish to do so. Each print is carefully rolled up, wrapped in pink tissue paper, & secured with a pink satin ribbon before being placed in a clear plastic sleeve to keep moisture out. It ships in a square poster mailer. Why paint Dolly? This painting, as with most of my artwork, is also inspired by my children. Both of my boys were part of her incredible book club the imagination library for years, & Dolly has been in their lives for as long as they can remember. I believe Dolly to be an excellent role model for little boys & girls alike. May they all grow up kind, confident, & compassionate, with a little magic on top. 5% of the profits will be donated to Dolly Parton's Imagination Library.
