Re Bird: This piece is a traditional oil that started out as nothing more than some scribbles on a sheet of wrapping paper. I receive multiple inquiries for song birds & really have little experience with them so I was messing about to see what I could do. It is always exciting seeing what I can come up with. This one started out as a watercolor cardinal, but gew wings :) & is now a snow bird with a little cardinal & some 'creative license'. More often than not it ends up in the rubbish bin, but it's still fun to try. I'm not sure how many attempts I made to get something resembling a bird, but in the end I think it came out OK.
