These are super special, ornate & gorgeous detailing, this is a larger piece at over 4 tall & wide, this beauty will decorate your kitchen or seasonal tree for many autumns to come! Realistically painted in water color techniques with layers of color, leaf veins & a splattering of browns & silver for a rustic appearance. Finally sealed with a coat of non yellowing varnish & fitted with a black wire hanger. These OOAK leaves are handcrafted & hand painted using watercolor techniques in autumn hues of red, orange, gold, green & brown. Each leaf is one of a kind (OOAK) the one you see pictured in the listing is the leaf you will receive. Your leaf ornament comes cello wrapped with care & hang brand tag included. Maple leaf is large compared to the other leaves in my shop. Large enough to be seen on a shelf, kitchen knob or cubicle wall. Measures 4 1/2 tall & 4 wide. If you're unfamiliar with salt dough, it's a craft that's been around since Colonial times. All the ornaments you see in my shop are made by me, the same way as our mothers & grandmothers who dabbled in salt dough, without any mechanical devices, completely by hand. Flour, salt & water is combined, shapes are cut out & dried completely until each piece is as hard as a piece of pottery. All ornaments are then sanded to smooth the edges, hand painted with passion & care & finished with a black wire hanger. Should be displayed indoors & stored when not in use in a ziplock bag.
