The design started life as a piece of millefiori clay - the pattern has a lovely slightly retro feel. Made with toughened heatproof glass, this set of top quality heatproof glass coasters will protect your surfaces from mug & glass marks as well as providing a cheerful burst of colour. Large surface area, perfect for large mugs, wine glasses & tumblers 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4) & approx 3mm (1/8) thick Four silicone rubber feet lift the glass off your worktop or table, protecting it from moisture & heat damage A smart DoodlePippin seal is on the reverse of your coasters, to mark it as an original & unique design Handwash & dry please. THE DESIGN All my patterns arise from my work as a millefiori artist - this ancient technique results in beautiful kaleidoscopic patterns in glass & clay. Many of my patterns have been compared to those of the famous 19th Century fabric & wallpaper designer William Morris, but millefiori can also produce stunning floral patterns such as this one.
