Description
Spore Pod Vase is hand-built with white low-fire clay. I made two pinch pots & attached them together to form a ball. I then paddled & sculpted it into a holey, vase-y shape, & glazed it with glossy food safe bright pumpkin-orange glaze on the bottom, & matte turquoise glaze on top. The vase is also glazed on the inside with green glaze, but it is probably best for dried flowers. This vase measures 1.5 inches (4 cm) tall & 1.5 x 1.5 inches (4 x 4 cm) wide. The flower openings are 1/8 - 1/4 of an inch (.25 - .5 cm) wide. This vase is signed on the bottom by the artist, dkrueger, & titled Spore Pod Vase.
