Probably from the mid to late 1800s I would think. Almost certainly British, with nice mother of pearl handles. I can't see a hall mark or maker but i would think the band around the bolster is almost certainly silver. There is quite a lot of loss to the plate as i hope you can discern from the pics (which actually make it look more noticeable than it is. This is a lovely little set though for any lover of old fine cutlery. It's possible these have never been used although there are a few very light marks (and I do mean 'light'), but either way they are in lovely clean condition. Warranted Stainless Sheffield England.
