Our folded origami hanky dress wall art is sure to please the vintage lover! This idea was born after finding some old hankies when a dear relative passedsearched & searched to find something to repurpose them into a keepsake, & after much research & practice, here it is!! We start with a cleaned & pressed vintage hanky. With the magic of origami, we've folder it into a dress & created a unique piece of art by attaching it to a backing of vintage wallpaper & then framing it! The hanky is in a floral print with purple flowers & green leaves (with the base of the hanky being white). There is also a pale pink around the neckline, sleeves & bottom edges of the dress. The wallpaper backing is coordinating in every waya yellow/gold color with white flowers. The frame is very lightweight, & we've painted it with gold chalk paint to match. Size on this one is 9 3/4 w x 12 length. To complete the vintage look & feel, we've finished it off with a piece of vintage floral pattern wallpaper (different from the front backing). One of the pics shows the piece used to hang it. (easy to hang since it's so light!) These origami hanky dress pictures are perfect for the vintage decor loverthey almost remind me of Paris in the 1800s (don't know why!). Perfect to decorate a wall in your bathroom or bedroom, or even part of a dorm room! If you are looking for a special gift for someone that they won't see anywhere else, this is it.
