I've been enjoying doing some embroidery lately. I found this very old pattern in my mom's collection of embroidery patterns. It's from the 50's, I believe, when girls had Pom poms on their skates. Skating was a big deal then! It has been hand embroidered on cotton fabric, then placed in a small wooden hoop for framing. It has been backed in pink felt.
