Beautiful & unique table lamp handmade from a single oak branch as a natural tripod. The base is approximately 29 cm in diameter, 20 cm deep & 39 cm tall (with an overall height of 45 cm including the lamp fitting). The lamp fitting is a nickel E27 holder, wired with a 3 core braided cable & has an inline switch on the cable, which makes it perfect for use as a bedside/ table lamp. The unique pattern of grain in the base has been enhanced further by using eco-friendly hardwearing oil to gently finish the surface of the timber leaving it waterproof & heat protected. About my business I specialise in hand crafted wood products that maximise the natural beauty in the shape & growth forms of the wood. All timber has been air dried for many months before being shaped & crafted into the final lamp base you see here. Environmental sustainability Ensuring that all products are environmentally sustainable at every stage in the process is very important to me. All wood used in my products is locally sourced from natural treefalls or from trees felled for management purposes. All products used to treat & finish the wood are specifically chosen as they are ecologically friendly. All lamps are designed to be used with low energy LED bulbs. The packaging used for shipping is chosen to be environmentally sustainable & recyclable. Quality & testing All electrical lamp components are earthed have been tested & approved.
