Handmade vase made by a ceramics artist. This unique artistic vase will hold a pretty bouquet of dried flowers or fluffy pampas grass. It brings warm softness & naturalness to your interior with beautiful artistic glaze. This kind of glazes make interesting patterns during the firing. Every item is unique, there are no 2 identical ones. Creation process: After making the pieces in my small workshop, I let them dry for at least a week, then I smooth them to remove any marks (finger, tools, sandpaper). The next step is the biscuit cooking at 1040oC which lasts almost 7 hours. Then the pieces can be glazed (often with a brush & dipped in cans). Once the glaze has dried, the pieces are put back in the oven for a second firing which lasts also 7 hours or a little longer, often between 1040oC & 1050oC which makes them solid, freezeproof, & durable.
