35ins x 36 ins in stiff crisp natural linen. No holes or damage & perfect for someone who loves vintage & doing embroidery. This would be a superb birthday or Christmas gift for such a person. The design is traditional & was a favourite of the 1940s 50s being a basket of flowers. You can just feel the history this cloth has. I can almost see the lady (it would have been a woman in those days I guess, but not now of course!) sitting in dim light at night sewing this cloth & then carefully putting it away again in her sewing box. Who ever buys this will have the fun of seeking out the silks & finishing what someone started, probably before they or even their parents were born!
