THIS IS SOLD & is shown as an example of paint finishes should you wish to commission a piece. Vintage solid wood console table, dressing table, writing desk or side table. Dating around the 20s or 30s this is well made & solid table with Queen Anne legs. The drawers have solid bottoms & are dovetail & the handles are vintage aged brass. It has been sanded back & then painted in a lilac chalk paint using a heavy rustic brush stroke. Gold paint & coloured waxes have been applied & then the whole piece has been sanded back to age & then waxed again & finally sealed with clear wax. The top has been painted in a dark charcoal chalk paint & sealed with layers of black wax. The handles have been left in their original state to complement the piece. The final effect is a mix between industrial & aged marbling.
