Rare West India Vintage Coasters Set featuring Six coasters in a decorative wooden box with a raised design motif. There are four distinct paintings (two are repeated) with very colorful & intriguing artistry. The paint is made from ground precious stones & crystals ranging from red jasper, turquoise, amethyst, green aventurine to yellow agate & more. The frame & box are made of Kadamb wood. The women pictured are Royalty in traditional Rajastani dress. The one of the elephant's frame is marred in the upper left corner. Please zoom in for a most accurate view. Framed behind glass, they stand individually & as a whole as a compelling collective work of art. The box is 3 x 4 inches & the coasters are 3 1/4 inches square. A Unique & OOAK find!
