Colorful Pysanka Ornament | Hanging Ukrainian Easter Egg | Easter Egg Tree Ornament This colorful pysanka ornament was made using a white chicken egg. The contents of the egg were removed through one small hole at the top of the egg, which is covered with a gold colored finding with a white ribbon for hanging from your egg tree, Christmas tree or other ornament display. Some of the symbols on this egg are: Star ~ Eternal life & good fortune. Pods ~ A plant symbol for fertility & hope for a fruitful harvest. Spirals ~ Divinity or immortality. This egg measures approximately 2.3 inches from top to bottom & 1.5 inches from side to side. It has my initials & the year created (2019). It's coated with an archival varnish that adds UV protection, beauty & strength. It comes with a symbol card, & in a gift box. Display & care instructions: - Please make sure to display your pysanka out of direct sunlight as this can lead to discoloration & fading. - If you would like to stabilize your pysanka in an egg stand, a removable mounting putty, such as sticky tack, can be used to keep the egg in place. - To clean your pysanka of dust, simply wipe with a dry lint free cloth or something similar. - If storing your pysanka away until the next season, be sure to wrap in bubble wrap or other cushioning & place in a hard container to avoid crushing.
