Gorgeous vintage Johnson Bros dish in Old British Castles pattern. Classic Blue & White transferware oval bowl with a picture of Warwick Castle 1792. Lovely gift. It has the Johnson Bros stamp beneath that was used from 1913. Very stylish & usable in a classic pattern. Very collectable, useful & beautiful design. Dishes of this size are useful to have around. It would look wonderful displayed, but it's functional as a key bowl, jewellery catchall at bedside or vanity, business card holder or for use in the kitchen. It could even be a lovely soap dish. 21 cm x 13.5 cm across x height 2.5 cm Good condition with no chips or no crazing. The pattern is bright. There are 2 small chips underneath but they seem to be under the glaze & so original to the piece. Please see pics. Perfect for a collector of this set but also a really practical item to use!
