An ideal gift for gardeners, plant lovers & art enthusiasts. Cyanotype prints are real photographs of flowers, using the sun to process paper painted with cyanotype chemical. The print turns a gorgeous Prussian blue, & when washed, leaves behind an x-ray image of the flower. Choose between an original print made with different dandelions or a duplicate print. Each one of the originals is made to order, so it'll be unique & slightly different. It's science meets art while painting with sunlight! Each fine grain - heavyweight paper (200g/m^2) is hand cut, hand painted & made fresh to order, they'll differ slightly - but that is the beauty of it! I leave a small white border & try to show a little of the brush strokes for extra interest. The prints can be framed, used as a card or given as a gift. (Frame not included) I also sell cyanotype print kits if you would like to make the prints yourself. It's a beautiful way to capture the seasons & the beloved plants in your garden & can be shared with children as a fun activity or done alone as a curious & creative adult who likes to experiment.
