The amount of hours spent on this item is just way beyond what we could charge, but it became the item that inspired CwtchBach. This really has had a loving cuddle to bring it to where it is now. Stripped, sanded & wire wooled to a peachy finish. 7 layers of paint, allowed to harden in-between each layer on both the Gold legs & the lustrous Dark Blue body that is painted 360' Waxed to give a hard wearing finish. It really is lush. The back of the unit was removed, cleaned & papered in an Art Deco matched wall paper that truly makes the whole unit sing. All the glass has been carefully cleaned & the beautiful Art Deco mirrored images have been lovingly cared for to bring back the original sheen. The colour from Frenchic is very similar to Farrow & Ball's Sticky Blue but a mineral paint that gives a lush solid colour.
