Characterful Rustic Gothic Style Duck Egg Blue Hand Painted Antique / Vintage Bedside Table / Cabinet / Chest of Drawers This rustic Gothic style bedside cabinet has been hand painted in Annie Sloan's Duck Egg Blue & waxed. Using our artisan ageing technique, we have aged distressed it - enhancing the ornate details & character of the piece. If you are looking for something rustic with character, then this piece is for you. Two large drawers, beautiful ornate Edwardian brass handles, lovely carvings. This piece is heavy (including the drawers). We are not sure what wood it has been made of, but think that it is made of oak or some similar wood. It is in rustic but generally good vintage condition. As with most vintage furniture it does have some dents, marks etc developed over the years, "imperfections" that we find adds to the rustic country charm & character. As you can see from the photos it has some damage on the bottom right front rim. There are traces of old woodworm which has been treated. This characterful little tallboy chest of drawers would be wonderful as a bedside table, or as a storage cabinet in your hallway, study, bathroom etc. With its small size it would look just adorable in a child's bedroom, but we would not recommend it for a toddler / smaller child as small fingers can remove the internal screw covers etc. DIMENSIONS Height: 79 cm (69 cm to table top), Width: 54 cm, Depth: 40 cm.
