Adorable Light Blue Hand Painted Swedish Gustavian Country Style Meets the Orient in This Cabinet / Bedside Cabinet / Basin Base With A Touch of Gold & Monograms The exterior of this gorgeous cabinet has been hand painted in Annie Sloan's Louis Blue, waxed & slightly distressed, while the cupboard interior has been painted in Emperor's Silk - a beautiful vibrant red colour. This Oriental cabinet was first painted in red, but we then decided to make it into a sweet Gustavian style cabinet with the Oriental look as an extra spice to to look. We have hand painted the 18th Century Gustavian Era's Swedish King Gustav III's monogram in gold on the doors, creating a beautiful contrast to the powder light blue colour. With the so typical Oriental style handles it becomes a unique, wonderful piece of furniture. It is in good condition. As with most vintage items there can be some marks, dents etc, which we find is what makes vintage items so charming & characterful. This absolutely gorgeous piece would be perfect in many rooms in your home. Use it as a bedside cabinet, a hall cabinet, side cabinet in your living room or why not add the special extra to your bathroom & use it as a basin base.
