They catch the light beautifully & sparkle & shimmer with subtle rainbow colours. This beautiful star has been handmade by me in my little studio. Small pieces of textured rainbow iridescent glass have been hand cut & arranged to make the star. It has then been fired in my kiln to just the right temperature so that the glass only just starts to melt & becomes a smooth raised contour to the surface making a very tactile piece. Each time the glass is fired it is cooled slowly & annealed to give it durability & strength. The approximate size is 8 cm wide x 8 cm tall. Hand washing is recommended. I use recycled packaging whenever possible so this may arrive in a larger box than you expect but this allows me to use plenty of bubble wrap to ensure safe transit.
