I spent a major part of my life in Southern California. I had owned a photography studio for decades, but always had an interest in fine art photography. We moved to Oregon a few years ago & bought a home about a third of the way up the Oregon coast. Now that I don't put in daily time in a studio, I am able to get out & do art photography. It is good for the soul. I love the solitude of being out early in the morning, often before the sun comes up, or later in the day at sunset. So tranquil. This photograph didn't require long drives. It did require numerous visits. This location is right in my own newly adopted hometown on the Oregon coast. My wife & I went to this park early in our time in our new hometown. I was taken with the view of this bridge & took some photos. (I always have a camera with me, even when walking the dogs). I was satisfied with the results from this day, but we did revisit the location numerous times. I went several times for the express purpose of photographing this bridge, & this is my favorite.
