The large Cove Baby splash mats are made from a wipeable coated cotton in a matt finish, designed to match our highchair cushions. The mats are hard wearing, wipeable & are a great size, 140 cm x 100 cm, ensuring your floor will be protected from food, liquid & scratch damage, & making cleaning up after mealtimes easier. The mat is a perfect choice for the home where it can be used with any type of chair or highchair & also as a play mat, craft/painting mat or tablecloth. It can also be used outdoors during dry weather in the garden or for picnics. Each splash mat also comes in a reusable waterproof branded Cove Baby zipper bag, ideal for using out & about. Even though the splash mats are wipeable, no material is truly stain resistant, therefore it is recommended that you wipe your splash mat with a damp (not wet) cloth immediately if harsh products such as tomato based or orange coloured vegetable purees come into contact with the fabric. If staining is an issue for you, we recommend choosing a darker coloured splash mat. The cotton-based fabric is sealed with a coating which prevents fraying, although cotton is a natural fabric you will find occasional loose threads.
