Reindeer ornament made from oak whisky barrel stave. Handcrafted here in the heart of whisky country in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Salvaged oak whisky barrel staves steeped not only in whisky but also character. Each barrel stave is unique & their natural curve allows for the crafting of this beautiful ornament. The reindeer is formed from a barrel stave, sanded to reveal the beautiful grain structure of the aged whisky soaked oak, while retaining some of the character gained during decades of use in whisky industry. Dimensions - 15cm overall height (approx); 10cm width at widest point. All dimensions are nominal & may vary slightly. Oak staves are not of uniform width, & while every effort is made to match reindeer for multiple purchases as closely as possible, slight variations in each will always remain.
