Framed by a white core picture mount, the artwork incorporates a highly detailed motif of The Cheshire Cat from Lewis Carroll's timeless classic 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland'. The motif has been carefully sculpted & hand-cast in pewter, before being antiqued & hand-polished, & all of this takes place in our studio Workshop in Worcestershire, England. The quote below the motif reads: We're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad. How do you know I'm mad? Said Alice. You must be, said the Cat, or you wouldn't have come here. The quote has been printed directly on to premium white 180gsm card. The elegantly designed frame is made in the UK from sustainably resourced solid wood with a white finish. The frame is 160 mm square, by 32 mm deep. There is an 18 mm space between the glass & the back, & the spacer is made from white wrapped mdf. The frame is fitted with 2mm glass & has an mdf back. There is a fold out strut/standing leg on the back of the frame enabling the frame to be either hung on the wall or left free standing. Dispatched within one to two business/working day of receiving cleared payment. The Artwork comes carefully packaged. (Please Note: Frames are made in the UK & the wood used in the frames has been resourced whenever possible, from sustainable forests.
