A vintage serving spoon, silver-plated & classic in design. The spoon is made of metal, & is long-handled with a slender stem. The end of the spoon is broad & oval-shaped. The back is hallmarked, which denotes a superior grade of silver-plating. Measurements... Length: approx 17cm Width of spoon bowl: approx 6cm Depth of spoon bowl: approx 1.5cm The spoon is in very good condition, aside from the patina which has purposefully been left in place, but could easily be polished off if desired (please see photos). The piece is believed to date from circa late Victorian era - early 20th century, although the exact date of creation is not present on the piece.
