Handmade EL wire neon sign. Attention This is an EL(Electroluminescent) WIRE SIGN, noted it is NOT going to be as bright as a glass neon or LED neon sign & therefore it's substantially cheaper. It shines best in the dark or low lighting. & due to EL Wire needs large current drive, it makes a buzzing sound when it is on. It is noticeable in a quite place, but if you have background noise (TV, music, etc...) you will barely hear it. Dimensions - Sign: 8.5(W) x 11(H) Product includes - 3.2mm electroluminescent wire sign mounted on an acrylic backing - 2 AA battery power pack (2' Cord length, Slow Strobe/Fast Strobe/Steady On, batteries not included) Please note colors may slightly vary depends on monitor. The average lifespan of the light is about 3000 hours based on a 6-8 hours of usage a day. All signs are made by hand & we use super glue to attach EL wire on the acrylic so some excess glue & little scratches on the acrylic can be seen. It's not defective & once the sign's up on on the wall, you don't even care about it. We always try our best to keep it as clean as possible.
