A mid century Scandinavian bowl - from the 'Saga' design by Turi Gramstad Oliver for Figgjo Flint, Norway. The pattern was created in the 1960s, so of this era. White glazed ceramic, with a screen-printed design of a traditional Norwegian folk man, in teal blue, brick red & dusky olive green & deep red abstract floral design, with black outlines. Rim line is decorated with a similar leaf design. The design looks hand-drawn/sketched & is typically retro Scandinavian. Stamped to the base of the vase with: Saga. Norske Design.
