If a peacock & a unicorn set sail to live with the mermaids on a coral reef, this is how they would decorate their home. Originally a very dark & imposing 1930s era sideboard, this piece has been given a complete makeover & a new lease of life. Hand painted in an array of blue/green/purple tones with golden highlights; both sides have also been decoupaged with an exotic, vibrant peacock print. The top has been decorated with raised textured stencilled mandalas in complementing colours, dusted in gold pigment, framed in a vibrant abstract design & varnished for protection. Inside, the colours continue! The right side has a shelf that has been decoupaged with an Art Deco design in deep green. The drawers on the left hand side have painted interiors (purple & teal) & the fronts have been decoupaged in a Matthew Williamson peacock design.
