This coaster set design is based on my collection of old wine labels. The prints are transferred on to tumbled stone using a unique fresco process. Made with real marble stones, the timeless image is actually soaked into the stone giving them a truly fresco-like quality. (They are not plaster or heat transfered) I am repeatedly asked where I find my old coasters in France & Italy? or they ask me if I have to travel to Europe often...!? They are shocked when I tell them that I make them in my studio using a unique fresco process. These coasters do not have a plastic feel like many that are created using a decopage technique. You would not know that these coasters are not from an ancient European fresco! I can also put any image you would like into the tiles & create your own custom art coasters from your image. I can also create beautiful murals for backsplashes & wine cellars. You have to see & feel the these stone coasters to really appreciate them!
