12 days of Christmas. I have collected the cockle shells from the beaches of West Wales. They have each been cleaned thoroughly & then left to air dry. I have painted the shells in a green acrylic paint, decoupaged with images of the 12 days of Christmas & finished with a green painted rim. Each shell is hung on a piece of white ribbon. These make lovely Christmas tree decorations. They also make lovely ornaments & are a real talking point. Each shell is unique & they will have natural flaws from the rough & tumble of the ocean.
