Zabkowice Geometric Vase No.2315 Designed by Jan Sylwester Drost, Mid Century Polish Glass in Green, Smoke & Amber Manufactured in a range of colours, this satisfyingly heavy, chunky vase is extremely popular with collectors in Poland & around the world. Resting on an octagonal pedestal base, the round vase features a textured impressed repeat pattern of triangles. Jan Sylwester Drost & his wife Eryka Trzewik Drost were national icons of mid-century glass & ceramic design in Poland. An exhibition of their prolific glass design output for Zabkowice glassworks has recently toured the country to much acclaim. Each vase is approx. 16.5cm (6.5) tall, with diameter of 10cm (4) at rim. Their unpacked weight is approx. 880g. Vases are for sale individually, select from dropdown menu to purchase. I am a keen collector of Polish glass & often sell my duplicates.
