To boost our Etsy listings, we are offering a 35% discount on all of our Christmas stockings until Sept 30th, 2023. These fun & gorgeous Christmas stockings are suitable for beloved pets or for animal-loving humans. Each of the stockings is beautifully, & painstakingly, hand knitted in organic cotton by highly-skilled artisans. They are about 18cm/7 inches wide at the opening at the top, & measure about 48cm/19 inches tall. ChunkiChilli represents a knitting community in a remote & rural part of Southwest China, & all of the stockings are knitted there. When we first launched the community, the knitters were mostly Mums knitting while their children were at school. They are now mostly Grannies, multi-tasking knitting & looking after their grandchildren. If you choose the 'Named' option from the drop-down list, we will add your pet's name to the stockings with a vegan leather tag. Real leather tags are also available on request. We often get asked why we do not offer to embroider names straight onto the stocking. Our answer is that most of the embroidery that you see is done with a machine, but it is impossible to machine-embroider hand-knitted stockings of this high quality. We would love to hand-embroider each stocking, but we don't have the time.
