The artist Gunnar Gunnarson Wennerberg lived at the turn of the century & designed, among other things, some amazing Art Nouveau porcelain. in his capacity as Art Director at Gustavsberg he was one of the great pioneers, a giant who paved the way or the mid century modern Scandinavian art & design we know today. This is one of his iconic designs, called after him; Gunnar. He created this design around 1905, & it was sold until 1936. I have this cup also in a newer limited edition series created for the department store NK in Sweden. It is no longer produced.NB. this was also produced on the SA model.
