Description
I cut my models on acrylic glass ( perspex, plexiglass) & timber veneer. Each of them is unique: even when two works look similar, the small components or the embroidery will be different. I love to experiment with new beautiful thread & stitching patterns. This piece has been cut on sheets of light blue & gold coloured Plexiglas. The smaller Plexiglas elements are stitched in/embroidered with DMC cotton yarn. It comes framed with a nice & simple IKEA Hovsta 23 x 32 cm ( 9 x 12.5 inches ) which adds protection to the artwork during the trip, but it would also look great reframed with a mat & a larger frame as shown in last pictures. & it would be fabulous hanging next to its cream/gold & pink sister you can see in the last photo!
