This gorgeous drum lampshade is carefully hand-made using a good quality cotton fabric. The design is by Angel Strawbridge of Channel 4’s hit series ‘Escape to the Chateau’. The design was inspired by the historic wallpaper in the room of the chateau facing the walled garden. The design shows bees & beehives, vegetables, herbs & flowers in stylised profusion on a cream background. This shade would be perfect for both modern homes & character cottages & its muted colours & light background will fit with many interior design schemes. I am an experienced lampshade-maker, taking care care when placing fabric. Please note, however, that the large design means your shade will be similar but not identical to the one shown. The lampshade is made using materials which have passed the Lighting Association’s glow-wire test. A low energy bulb is recommended. The photo shows the 35cm shade.
