This bowl is a nice size to keep on the counter as a catch-all for anything from keys & coins or treasures to using as a serving bowl at dinner. Its journey began as a little lump of clay thrown on the pottery wheel & formed from stoneware clay. The outside body of the bowl & the foot have been slightly incised for grip. Then it was bisque fired to remove impurities from the clay. Then the glaze was applied. It was hand brushed using several different commercial glazes. Finally, it was glaze fired to a mid-range cone 5. Size 3 Tall x 8 Diameter Color Midnight blue outside, creamy beige & brown inside Please keep in mind all computer monitors reveal color differently. Cleaning/ Food Safe/ Microwave This glaze will last longer when hand washed only. It is food safe. Microwave Safe. Shipping Your piece will ship via USPS with insurance & tracking.
