A beautiful, Scandi inspired hand made set of 3 ceramic Christmas trees, perfect in daylight, glowing by night with LED tealights or tiny string of fairy lights. These individual unique trees slot into a hand made walnut or beech wooden stand, & the holes carefully carved into each allows light to shine through. They make perfect gifts, for someone else or for you! They are perfect for a Christmas tablescape, or on your mantelpiece or sideboard. As I make each tree to be individual, they are between 7-13cm tall. They are hand cut, then carefully carved with a variety of sizes of small holes so that the tree will glow when a candle is placed behind, casting patterns around. The tree is then slowly dried before being fired to 1000C, then glazed with a glossy clear glaze & fired again. Each tree is perfectly unique, tactile, well proportioned & organically shaped. I make different sizes of the trees & will select 3 that work well together, so your set will be totally unique. I am very happy to answer queries & to provide you with photos of individual trees with their heights available in advance - people often like to make their own decisions on whether their selection works well together! I love making these trees & I firmly believe they should be on display all year round, not just for Christmas! I work from my home studio in rural West Worcestershire, overlooking my garden & ancient woodland - it's cosy, bright & light, & I am often accompanied by our puppy Henry.
