A beautifully handmade small/medium sized deep bowl made in stoneware & glazed in a speckled matte white (with a glossy white inside). Ideal for gifting, this versatile bowl is suitable for serving cereal, noodles, soups, salads, snacks, or desserts. Additionally, it makes a charming container for trinkets or other small items. The lower section & base remain unglazed, showcasing the inherent texture & warm hue of the toasted clay. I personally throw each piece on a potter's wheel in my private home studio. Once each item has been thrown, dried & trimmed, it is then bisque fired to 999 degrees. Next it is brushed with 3-4 coats of glaze before being fired a second time to 1220 degrees. All of the glazes that I use are lead free & food safe. Pieces are dishwasher & microwave safe although handwashing is recommended to ensure their longevity. Since every bowl is crafted by hand, no two pieces are identical. Therefore, slight variations in measurements, color, & shape may occur, adding to the distinctive charm & uniqueness of each item.
