Curvy mug, angled glaze in floating blue with busy bees & flowers in the forefront. Holds 300mls comfortably Bee line range Our first line of tableware, made in stoneware with a third to two thirds mix of floating blue & clear glaze to show off not only the natural smooth clay below but a subtle appearance of the humble bumble bee & the flowers which they thrive on. An attractive set suitable for everyday use as well as being the talking point of any table setting. All items are make to order, current lead time is 2-4 weeks depending on items ordered (plates have to dry slower than cups & mugs) We have started with some basics, we will be adding other tableware to this range over the next few weeks & months. A little bit about us As self taught lockdown potters, our work may be a little rougher around the edges than some makers, & indeed the perfection seen on social media. We work to refine the items but makers mark will remain. All items are made by myself or my wife Sally & we are learning as we go. Everything is fit for purpose but occasional fingerprints, glaze lines, throwing marks will appear, I believe this adds to the uniqueness of each item, but please be understanding when plates stack a little oddly, or there are finger mark lines inside your coffee cup. Also, some of these items are make to order & I have to stick to a making schedule as each item goes through the following process. Wedge, make, dry, trim, dry again, fettle, bisque fire, glaze, then glaze fire, finally the item will be checked, base sanded smooth & packaged up securely to arrive to you in the quickest time possible. This currently due to the damp weather can take up to 3 weeks. & that is for listed items, if it's an addition to the range then design, testing, glaze testing, costing, photographing, & listing is added to the process which are all usually done by me.
